2/3 c. raw sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. Real Salt
3 c. raw or organic milk or cream (I use milk)
4 cage-free, organic egg yolks
2 Tbls. raw or organic butter
1 Tbls. + 1 tsp. gluten-free vanilla
*Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. In another bowl blend milk and egg yolks. Gradually stir liquid mixture into sugar mixture over medium heat. Stir constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 more minute. Remove from heat and blend in butter and vanilla.
