These cookies taste so yummy and Christmasy (is that a word? 🙂 I love the peppermint flavor and the crunch that the candy canes provide. Enjoy with hot cocoa!!!
1 pkg. Bob’s Red Mill Shortbread Cookie Mix
1 1/2 sticks of raw or organic butter
1 free-range, organic egg yolk
2 Tbls. water
2 candy canes, crushed
*Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter then add egg yolk, and water. Add cookie mix slowly and combine. Add crushed candy cane. Dough will look dry. Add a little water if needed. Roll dough out between parchment paper. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake 12-15 minutes. Let cool completely.
