If you’re looking for something easy, delicious, and healthy, this complete list of vegan snacks ideas is here to help! You’ll find everything from juicy fruit to snacks you didn’t even know were vegan friendly.
Wether you’re looking for a mid day or midnight snack, finding something healthy and delicious can be a challenge. It can be tempting to grab the first thing you see in the pantry which is why I recommend keeping healthy foods stocked up!
What are staple vegan foods?
I find it so helpful to make sure you have tons of healthy food around next time hunger-strikes. Below is a list of vegan foods you can find at your local grocery store so you can always make the perfect snack.
Nuts, nut butters, and seeds
Keeping your panty stocked with a variety of nuts and nut butter is a great way to widen your snack options. Peanut butter and almond butter are essential in so many yummy recipes. As an added bonus, nuts are packed with healthy fats and over 7 grams of protein per serving!
Nuts are found in tons of vegan recipes but you’ll also find a lot of recipes that call for chia seeds, flax seeds, and/or hemp seeds. Not only are those extremely healthy foods, they also add tons of texture and flavor!

Fruits and vegetables
Keeping your favorite fruits and vegetables on hand is a great way to eat more healthy vegan snacks. Top fresh fruit on yogurt and dip the veggies in some hummus! You can also use fruits and veggies in tons of different recipes.
For a savory option, our vegan queso is the perfect appetizer using veggies.
Grains
I like to keep a variety of whole grains stocked up for all types of recipes. Crackers, oatmeal, bread, bagels, etc. are great grains to keep on hand.
Dips and spreads
Dips and spreads are essential for snacks! Hummus, salsa, guacamole, and daiya dips are my favorite.
Easy vegan snacks
Now that you’re stocked up on the basics for vegan snacks, here are some quick and easy snack ideas. But first, our vegan oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and vegan oatmeal raisin cookies because they are the BEST!
1. A vegan charcuterie board
A vegan charcuterie board is a great way to pack tons of your favorite vegan snacks into one! Fill your charcuterie board with dates, nuts, vegan cheese, crackers, fruit, vegan chocolate, etc. The options are almost endless!
2. Energy balls
I love making peanut butter balls or protein balls for a quick pick me up. They’re normally made with nut butter, maple syrup, chia seeds, and oatmeal but you can easily add more or less ingredients. Similarly, granola bars are another great snack.
3. Smoothie
You can never go wrong with a fresh and fruity smoothie bowl during the summer months. Make a vegan smoothie with your fruit of choice, almond milk, and ice for the perfect healthy snack.
4. Chips and dip
Any chip and dip combo is going to be a delicious snack. Wether it’s tortilla chips and guacamole or pita chips and hummus, it’s guaranteed to satisfy your hunger cravings.
5. Trail mix
Trail mix is great for road trips or on-the-go snacks. You can make your own and fill it with nuts, seeds, dried fruit, chocolate chips, etc. or you can buy it pre-made from the store. When buying pre-made trail mix, I like to opt for one without added sugar.
6. Vegan dessert nachos
This vegan chocolate sauce and dessert nachos are everything! Crunchy chips are covered in cinnamon sugar. They are then drizzled with a smooth and rich chocolate and topped with chopped strawberries.
