This desert succulent dinner party was a huge success both in decor and the fresh and flavorful food. Let me show you how to re-create this desert succulent dinner party in your own home. It will definitely wow your family and friends!
The idea for this desert succulent dinner party all started when I found these darling little succulent place holders. It was then that I knew I had to theme an entire celebration around them. I will say that having a small piece of decor is always a helpful first step in styling any party.
I knew that to make this desert succulent dinner party complete, I needed gorgeous florals. Also needed were potted cacti and aztec inspired linens. We used my favorite one on the table then used some vintage rugs on the bench seats. They along with the flowers brought lots of color to the table. Having copper cups also seemed only natural and fitting. They were the perfect vessel for our delicious Telula juice.
Telula makes organic, not-from-concentrate fruit and vegetable juices. They are cold-pressed and free of GMOs, toxic pesticides, additives, preservatives and added sugar. They truly are just farm to bottled organic goodness. My family and I LOVED how delicious they are! My little lady especially loved them and couldn’t get enough.
They have great flavors like green zing, beet carrot, spicy lemon, carrot citrus, melon mint and green fusion. There are even four delicious chia blends including blackberry, coconut citrus (my favorite), bilberry banana and tart cherry. They are packed with so much fiber, I love inputting them into My Fitness Pal. Telula can be found in the juice aisle. Check out their store finder to find it at a store near you. I couldn’t help but use this delicious blackberry chia Telula blend to create a mouthwatering recipe. Since summer is much to hot for traditional soup, I went with a sweet gazpacho. Scroll down to the bottom for the full recipe. Also on our menu included Mexican street corn, grilled chicken sausage and shrimp skewers and blackberry pistachio green salad. I wanted to keep it light since when it’s so hot out, nobody wants heavy food. These delicious foods were also easy to prepare so I didn’t have to spend all day in the kitchen.
Our desert succulent dinner party needed a little fun too. So, we decided on a blackberry eating contest. The little ones thought it was so much fun and they couldn’t stop smiling! You could also play yard yahtzee like we did at our summer blog party. Overall, it was such a delicious dinner. I only wished we could have spent all night out there together…
