What goes in a charcuterie board without meat?
You can easily make a grazing board or easy charcuterie board without meat products! Dried fruits, apple slices, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, vegan dips, and your favorite crackers are excellent choices for a vegan snack board.
You can even get sweet with our vegan oatmeal chocolate chip cookies because they are the BEST! Here are my other favorite things to add to a vegan charcuterie board…
Dried Mangos
Dried mangos or freeze dried mangos have a great sweet taste and the perfect crunchy texture. They also add a pop of color which is what you’re looking for!
Dried dates
If you’ve never tried dates, you’re missing out. They’re perfectly sweet, have a hint of caramel to them, and pair well with tons of other fruits.
Fresh Berries
I like to place fresh berries in a small bowl because I find they easily roll around the board. Larger berries like strawberries don’t need to be placed in a bowl but smaller fruits do!
Dairy-free cheese
Dairy free cheese adds a different texture to your vegetarian charcuterie board and it goes great with crackers. Cheese is one of those things you almost have to include in a charcuterie board! Dairy-free or not, cheese is a necessity!
Can you put veggies on charcuterie board?
Adding vegetables to your vegan charcuterie board is a great idea! Veggies are healthy, yummy, and they add a pop of color to the vegan board. When loading your board up with veggies, I recommend adding red pepper hummus or another dairy-free dip to pair them with!
Sliced carrots, bell peppers, cucumber slices, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. are all great options for veggies and are perfect for special occasions. It will depend on your size board for how many vegetables and toppings you can fit.
How to make it
This vegan version of a cheese board is so easy to make and you can get really creative with your placement of foods!
Step 1: Get a board and place small bowls and little spreading knives where you would like them
Step 2: Add some dips, sauce or berries in the little cups as well as things like pickles which are wet and can make a mess
Step 3: Add cheeses of choice around the board is using vegan cheese.
Step 4: Add fruit, crackers, coconut shreds, and nuts, and other desired ingredients around your board.
Step 5: Add all the yummy treats! Chocolate covered pretzels, heart shaped chocolates, cookies with hearts and whatever else your HEART desires
Step 6: Finish by adding in the green herbs to give it a live, effervescent look

- 1 box GF Crackers
- 8 oz Dried mangos
- 8 oz Dried figs or apricots
- 8 oz Dried dates
- 4 oz Coconut chips
- 8 oz Made in Nature Figgy Pops
- 8 oz Made in Nature Nuts over Fruit Supersnacks
- 6 oz Nuts
- 16 oz Fresh berries
- 8 oz Grapes
- 8 oz Your favorite vegan cheese
- 8 oz Red Pepper Hummus edamame hummus is also good
