This mom buddy fitness challenge has definitely come in handy for me as a busy mom who is trying everyday to stay healthy. My friend and I have loved this mom buddy fitness challenge and hope you all do as well. It is not a quick fix but meant to be a lifestyle change.
I chose to call this the mom buddy fitness challenge due to the definition of fitness. Fitness is the condition of being physically fit and healthy. It doesn’t mean being a size 2 or a certain weight. Fitness isn’t starving yourself in the name of trying to look a certain way. I think fitness and lifestyle go hand in hand. I believe that our reasons for working out and eating healthy should be for physical health not just for aesthetic.
For many though, chronic pain gets in the way of being physically active. At times, it definitely makes it challenging for me. During the birth of my last (10.4 lb) baby, I got a herniated disc. While I could have had surgery, I have chosen to manage the chronic pain naturally. Through things like an inversion table, a low sugar diet (as best I can), staying active and Curamin® Extra Strength Pain Relief.
Thanks to the combination of these things, I have been able to enjoy life again. Prior to adding in the Curamin® Stop Pain Now to my regimen, I saw results but not nearly as many. It has taken the pain relief to a new level for me. It has also helped me with the chronic pain due to nerve damage I experience from years of going with undiagnosed celiac disease. The best part is that I haven’t had to have surgery or resort to harsh prescription drugs. It is a great natural alternative and great as a first line of defense against chronic pain. Curamin® is an award winning pain relief product that has provided life changing benefits for not only me but hundreds of thousands of people around the world. It is safe, effective and non-addictive and has been voted #1 for pain relief. Hello Curamin. Goodbye Pain!
Since starting our mom buddy fitness challenge, I have noticed my body is at peak performance. In fact, I recently ran my first ever 10K in Disneyland! As a mother of three, I don’t have time for “down time”. I love to jump on the trampoline, go on a bike ride or fly kids in the air like an airplane at any time. Thanks to these changes I am more able to do all of these things with vitality.
My friend and I recently started a daily challenge in which we have to do FIVE things to receive a check mark for that day. The person with the most check marks at the end of the month gets dinner on the other.
We chose each thing on our checklist for a reason. First is to workout because we believe physical activity is important to health. This can be a bike ride with the kids or a more formal lift session at the gym. Next is to eat a vegetable with every meal because they have so many nutrients. Giving your stomach time to rest from digestion can be a very good thing so we chose to include stop eating past 8pm.
Taking your vitamins (that includes Curamin®) is another thing I like to do because it only furthers our bodies well-being. Drinking 65 ounces of water is another requirement on our checklist because water is one of the very best things for your body. Lastly, tracking what you eat is on our checklist. It will help you be more mindful of what you are filling your body with.
At the end of the month, tally up your wins to compare with your wellness buddy to see who buys dinner that month! This checklist really has been so helpful for my friend and I. It encourages us in a good way to live life more healthfully. Plus, as you can see, we have a lot of fun! Print our Mom Buddy Fitness Challenge Printable HERE.
