Gluten-Free Apple Fritters
These gluten-free apple fritters are sure to please any crowd. They are quick to make and full of delicious apple flavor perfect for fall.
Servings: 10 -12 fritters
Chop apples into bite size pieces
In a stand mixer, combine remaining ingredients and mix well
Stir in apples
Meanwhile, heat oil in the deep fryer
Once oil is hot, drop mini ice cream scoops of dough into the fryer
Cook 2-3 minutes then flip fritters and cook another 1-2 minutes
Place fritters on paper towels to drain excess grease
While fritters are cooking, combine 1/4 C Dry Sparkling fuji apple soda and 2-3 C powdered sugar to make the glaze
Drizzle over the hot apple fritters and serve immediately
You can use any variety of apple although, I am partial to the sweeter varieties. We actually used my mother-in-laws fresh trees right from her apple tree.
If you don't have Dry Sparkling soda, any apple soda will do.
