Gluten-Free Pecan Pie Shortbread Bars & GIVEAWAY

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 C maple syrup
  • 6 T butter melted
  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 C pecans
  • 1 box gluten-free Walkers pure butter shortbread
  • 4 T butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°
  • In a bowl, crush the shortbread then stir in 4 T butter
  • Press the shortbread crust into a pie pan
  • Meanwhile, mix the eggs, maple syrup, 6 T melted butter, sugar, salt and 1/2 C crushed pecans
  • Pour filling over the shortbread crust
  • Top with remaining 1 C pecans
  • Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
