Rose Simple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 C sugar
  • 1/2 C water
  • 1/2 C rose water
  • 1 tbsp dried, edible rose buds

Instructions

  • Add 1/2 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar to a pan and whisk well
  • Add 1 T of dried, edible rose buds and 1/2 C rose water
  • Bring to a boil whisking occasionally then remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes
  • Pour syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a glass bottle

Notes

Pro Tip: Make sure the rose water is edible and not made with glycerin. I highly recommend organic Bulgarian rose water.
