Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dry jasmine rice
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  • Add the rice and water to the instant pot and seal the lid
  • Set pressure cook or manual to 3 minutes
  • Once it has come to temperature and cooked 3 minutes, let it do a slow release for 10 minutes
  • Quick release after the 10 minute slow or natural release, fluff rice with a fork and enjoy

Notes

How do you store leftovers?

Let the rice cool down to room temperature before putting in an airtight container. It will last 4-6 days in the refrigerator. To reheat your rice, you can throw it in the microwave for thirty seconds or so. Make sure you add a bit of water before microwaving to have fluffy rice.
Pro Tip: Throw some of your favorite seasoning into the pot before cooking the rice to change the flavor of the rice (I like to use cilantro and a squeeze of lime).
