Ginger Beer Mocktail (aka Kentucky Mule Mocktail)

This ginger beer mocktail recipe, also known as a Kentucky mule mocktail, has complex flavors and is a fun twist on the typical ginger beer cocktail. It is like a ginger ale, but more fun.
Our ginger beer mocktail is the perfect mocktail for special occasions. It is fun to serve during the holiday season, playing into that ginger flavor, and has quickly become one of our favorite drinks around here.

  • Add 2 ounces of 0.0 bourbon or whiskey and 1/2 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice to Moscow Mule mugs (highball glasses also works great for this drink)
  • Next, fill the cups with ice (larger pieces are better so that the drink doesn't get diluted too fast with melting ice) and top with ginger beer
  • Garnish glasses with sliced lime wheels or wedges and fresh mint sprigs

Top tip: Use a pretty cocktail glass to step up your drink game. You can also use copper mugs, whichever you prefer!
