Candied Bacon Fried Apples

Ingredients

  • 2 crisp granny smith apples
  • 4 slices of thick cut nitrate-free bacon plus reserved bacon grease
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon roll
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Instructions

  • Chop the apples into 1" cubes. Fry the bacon in a pan then set aside and leave grease in the pan. Toss apples into the hot grease. Sprinkles with cinnamon and sugar. Cook 3-5 minutes or until softened but still a bit crisp. Be sure to toss continually. Crumble or chop the bacon and add back into the pan. Serve warm.
