Frosé (Frozen Rosé Recipe) that can be a cocktail or mocktail...

Sometimes an occasion calls for a little rose' but Frosé is even better during those hot summer months. This slushy recipe is a guaranteed crowd pleaser which is also so easy to whip up in minutes and can be made into a cocktail or a mocktail (what I prefer and recommend).

Notes

Tips for Success

  • Freeze overnight - I recommend freezing this recipe overnight to make sure it freezes enough to blend up before your guests arrive. If the mixture is too frozen, you can always let it sit out for a few minutes until you’re able to scrape it out and add it to a blender. Better to have this recipe too frozen to start than not frozen enough.
  • Only blend what you’re going to use - Maybe you have a small group you’re serving and might not need as much as you expect. If you’re not sure you’ll use the entire frozen mix, then only scrape out what you plan to use. If you need more you can always grab more and blend it up. Just seal up any extras and save them for another day.
  • Pour the mixture into ice cube trays - If you want to make this recipe even faster, pour the mixture into silicone ice cube trays to freeze. Then you can just pop them out and dump them into the blender.

Storage and Freezing

Freezing – If you have any leftovers, store them in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Re-blend when you’re ready to serve again.

FAQ

Can I make this non-alcoholic?
Absolutely! As I mentioned above, I always make this recipe with alcohol-free rosé so everyone can enjoy it. This recipe turns out fantastically even without the booze.
Can I add fresh strawberries to the mix?
Go for it! I recommend adding the fruit to the mix before you freeze it, that way everything will blend together and you get a nice, smooth mix without so many fruit chunks. This also allows your drink to stay nice and cold while you enjoy it.
