    JUMP TO RECIPE

Sometimes an occasion calls for a little rose’ but Frosé is even better during those hot summer months. This slushy recipe is a guaranteed crowd pleaser which is also so easy to whip up in minutes and can be made into a cocktail or a mocktail (what I prefer and recommend).

Frosé (Frozen Rosé Recipe) in a glass

There are so many reasons to enjoy a good frosé, like a ladies night or a casual get-together with the girls. Perhaps a spa night is in order, or you need something to serve at your next book club. This easy frosé recipe is perfect for all those parties and so many more. And good news, if you serve up non-alcoholic frosé, everyone can participate!

Your guests are going to love this frozen cocktail. They’re all going to want the recipe for themselves, and you and they are going to love how easy it is to make, because it’s frozen rosé! Wine slushies! And who doesn’t want a grown-up slushy?

I love to make this slushy, slightly fruity beverage because it’s so yummy and so simple. Depending on the flavor of the wine, there could be notes of strawberry, cherry, or even raspberry. I personally use non-alcoholic rosé in this recipe as I don’t drink. I love to host parties with friends and family, and it’s so much better when no one is excluded.

Frosé (Frozen Rosé Recipe) in two glasses

Need more delicious mocktails? Trust me, I’ve got you covered with this virgin strawberry margarita (with a twist) and a piña colada mocktail (non-alcoholic). These delicious frozen drinks won’t let you down. In fact, they may even keep the party going.

Still need more mocktails? Of course you do. Allow me to teach you how to make the PERFECT mocktail every time: with dozens of recipes! Did you know you can make this virgin mojito recipe in five minutes? And don’t forget about this strawberry mocktail (non-alcoholic gin smash).

Did I mention that this recipe only has three simple ingredients? Yes, you read that right, only three. I love to whip this slushy dream up the night before so it’s ready to go for the party the next day. Then I can serve it up in a pretty glass that makes it even more special.

You’re going to love this tangy-sweet strawberry frosé recipe. And because you’re making it yourself, you can make it as sweet as you like, depending on how much simple syrup you decide to use. Your choice! I just know you’re going to love this pink drink. It’s become a personal favorite.

Why you should make this recipe

    • This frozen drink is so easy to make you’ll want to serve it (and drink it) for every occasion
    • It makes a great party beverage
    • With non-alcoholic rosé, everyone can enjoy
    • It’s just so pretty, like our non-alcoholic mulled wine

    Ingredients Needed

    • Rosé – I like to use non-alcoholic rosé in this recipe because everyone, young or old can enjoy it. It’s a great option for this recipe and doesn’t change the flavor.
    • Strawberry simple syrup – This adds that burst of sweetness to the mix, and you can make it as sweet as you like. This little bit of sugar is perfect.
    • Lemon juice – A splash of this pumps up the tanginess and delights the taste buds.

    How to make Frosé

    Whisk and freeze

Pour all the yummy ingredients into a 9 X 13 baking dish. A whole bottle of rosé, strawberry simple syrup, and fresh-squeezed lemon juice all get whisked together, gently, of course.

Then tuck that pan into the freezer until the ingredients are lightly frozen. I recommend freezing overnight to make sure it’s ready to serve at the right time. You can always thaw a little bit before pouring into your wine glasses.

    Make it slushy

Here comes the fun part! Scrape the frozen mixture with a fork and place all of the sweet-tangy deliciousness into a high-powered blender. Blend until the mixture is a slushy consistency.

Then pour into your pretty glasses and serve to all your anxiously awaiting guests. They won’t be able to get enough!

    Tips for success

    • Freeze overnight – I recommend freezing this recipe overnight to make sure it freezes enough to blend up before your guests arrive. If the mixture is too frozen, you can always let it sit out for a few minutes until you’re able to scrape it out and add it to a blender. Better to have this recipe too frozen to start than not frozen enough.
    • Only blend what you’re going to use – Maybe you have a small group you’re serving and might not need as much as you expect. If you’re not sure you’ll use the entire frozen mix, then only scrape out what you plan to use. If you need more you can always grab more and blend it up. Just seal up any extras and save them for another day.
    • Pour the mixture into ice cube trays – If you want to make this recipe even faster, pour the mixture into silicone ice cube trays to freeze. Then you can just pop them out and dump them into the blender.

    Variations

    • Lime juice – I love using lime juice instead of lemon sometimes. It’s just as tangy, but has a slightly different flavor and smell.
    • Change up the simple syrup – Rosé whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic will have a few different fruity notes and you can play on those with different syrups. Try raspberry simple syrup, cherry simple syrup, or even a watermelon simple syrup.
    • Fresh fruit – Add a bit of fruit like a fresh strawberry and lemon ring to the rim of the glass for a classy serving idea. I even like to add a sprig of mint.
    • Frozen fruit – Add some frozen strawberries or even frozen watermelon cubes to the mix before you blend to give the recipe an extra pop of watermelon or strawberry flavor.

    Storage and Freezing

Freezing – If you have any leftovers, store them in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Re-blend when you’re ready to serve again.

    FAQ

    Can I make this non-alcoholic?

Absolutely! As I mentioned above, I always make this recipe with alcohol-free rosé so everyone can enjoy it. This recipe turns out fantastically even without the booze.

Can I add fresh strawberries to the mix?

Go for it! I recommend adding the fruit to the mix before you freeze it, that way everything will blend together and you get a nice, smooth mix without so many fruit chunks. This also allows your drink to stay nice and cold while you enjoy it.

    Ways to enjoy

I can think of few more perfect ways to enjoy this delicious non-alcoholic frosé than at a galentine’s mom and me party. Because of its lovely pink color it will also be fantastic at a galentine’s party and strawberry basil margarita mocktail. Serve both beverages for some added flair.

Because this drink is slushy and chilly, it pairs very well with these pool party ideas on those hot summer days. The perfect summer cocktail. This recipe would also be great at a mermaid baby shower with DIY diaper cupcakes. The possibilities are absolutely endless for this delicious drink.
