Our 25-minute Instant Pot chicken noodle soup recipe is a quick and easy way to make that classic homestyle warm and cozy soup. The tender chicken and fresh herbs create a great flavor your whole family will love.

This homemade chicken noodle soup will become your new comfort food. It is perfect for anytime of year, but especially in the colder months and when you are feeling a little under the weather.
Here is what you are going to love about it
So quick: In only 25-minutes you can have this cozy soup with some delicious bread like our easy gluten free biscuits with buttermilk or our buttery gluten free crescent rolls. The instant pot really does speed up the whole process.
Great way to use leftovers: I love using my leftover chicken from another meal to make this. I am notorious for forgetting to set out meat for dinner so this recipe comes in handy for making something new out of extras.
Such a hearty meal: Every time we eat this, we are all so satisfied because between the gluten free pasta, chicken and veggies, it is a meal that really fills you up.

Here's What you need
This delicious soup requires fresh ingredients, which in my opinion are the best part of this soup. We love how easy this recipe is and we know you will as well.
Rotini Pasta - We use gluten-free noodles because I have celiac disease, but you can use whatever type of pasta you prefer. I know of some people who prefer to use wide egg noodles in their soups. It all comes down to preference.
Chicken Stock (Or Broth) - For the base of this easy Instant Pot chicken noodle soup, you will need either chicken stock or chicken broth. You can buy boxes of chicken broth at the store or you can make homemade broth. I personally love making our roast chicken then using the leftovers to make it homemade.

How to make it
- So that you don't have to wash any other pans, use the inside of the Instant Pot and the sauté function to cook your diced onion, carrots and celery in bacon grease until onions are slightly translucent.
- After they are softened, I add the chicken stock, seasoning and pasta to the pot but also make sure to add water to the max line before you seal the Instant Pot. The water is necessary in your instant pot to make sure things don't burn.
- You only have to cook on manual mode for 3 minutes! I love how quick this recipe is. We even use the quick release method once it is cooked.
