Fresh peaches combine with heavy cream and brown sugar in this incredible no bake peaches and cream dessert that has been around for generations. It only takes 5 minutes to make and everyone will love it!
This delicious dessert is a classic 3-ingredient recipe that takes only minutes to make. It is refreshing and truly the perfect summer dessert.
Our peaches and cream recipe is one our family has been making for over 50 years. My grandparents enjoyed it and now my little ones do as well. I love that sometimes the best dessert is the most simple.
Most people turn to more complex desserts when it comes to fruit. Especially because buckles, crumbles and crisps are all so delicious. But I can tell you, once you try this recipe, you will crave it every time you see a peach.
You can easily customize peaches n cream with your own flavor preferences by adding berries, other fresh fruit, whipped cream or even dare I say… ice cream! You can even drizzle it with our peach simple syrup instead of using sugar.

How to select the best peaches
The best peaches are usually the fresh summer peaches. Find ones that are soft but not overripe. You want to be able to easily slice them without them crushing under the knife. Think, slicing slightly cool butter.
While I love this recipe, there are others that are great as well. Here are some of my favorite ways to use ripe peaches during peach season.
Do the peaches need to be peeled before using in dessert recipes?
You can peel peaches before using them in desserts but I like the extra fiber and texture when leaving the peels on. I also love that nothing goes to waste.
What you need
This truly is a 3-ingredient dessert with complex flavors. All you need is the following…
- 4 peaches
- 1/4-1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
How to make peaches and cream dessert
- Slice your peaches into four serving dishes
- Sprinkle with 1-2 tablespoons of brown sugar (depending on the sweetness level you like) and stir to combine
- Let peaches rest for 1 minute to pull juices from the peaches
- Pour cold cream over the peaches and enjoy!
Of course, cream is always a fantastic addition but cinnamon, honey and brown sugar are also great combinations.
When you gently squeeze a peach, it shouldn’t crumble under the pressure if you will. It should be soft to the touch but not bruise when you gently press it.
You can easily store sliced peaches in an airtight container or a bowl covered with plastic wrap. Full peaches can be stored in a brown paper bag in the fridge.
