I love using this herbal sweetener for mocktails and herbal teas. It is also great to add a lovely herbal touch to lemon or vanilla cake.

This herbal infusion adds a bit of sweetness with a fresh touch to anything you want to add it to.

If you want to give any of these mocktails a little savory bite, this sweetener or our jalapeรฑo simple syrup is the perfect way to do it. The fruit and rosemary especially go great together in our Grapefruit mocktail.

    • Non-alcoholic mimosa mocktail
    • Prosecco drink
    • Blackberry lemonade
    • Non-alcoholic gin and tonic
    • Lavender lemonade

You can also make a rosemary steamer by adding a tablespoon to large glass of warm milk.

    Can I use any sugar?

Any sugar can be used for this recipe. From cane sugar to coconut sugar and date sugar to raw sugar, they all work great!

You can even give this recipe a go using our brown sugar simple syrup instructions for a bit more of a warm caramel flavor. Or get floral and herby by combining it with our rose simple syrup!

Does it matter what kind of water I use?

Not at all. Tap water or filtered work equally as well. Just donโ€™t use any carbonated water like club soda or seltzer.

    How do you store it?

It can be stored at room temperature or in the refrigerator, whichever you prefer. You can use a glass or plastic container just be sure it is cooled before pouring if you are going to use plastic.

Does it need to be refrigerated?

Simple syrup does not need to be refrigerated. It handles well at room temperature.

How long do infused blends last?

You can keep infused blends for 1-2 weeks at room temperature or 3 weeks to a 1 month in the refrigerator. Once it starts to get cloudy or discolored, it is no longer good.
