I love this clean slate New Years Eve party because it is bright and beautiful with those pops of classic NYE black. If you are looking for a NYE theme, this clean slate new years eve party is fresh and beautiful plus it is delicious and memorable.
This clean slate New Years Eve party is bright and fun with a touch of slate black beauty. There are lots of delicious appetizers and goodies plus some beautiful clean slate resolutions cards for guests to write on. Everyone went home with some midnight snack boxes as well.Let me share a bit more about how we put this together…
I would say that food is always the main focus of any New Years Eve party. Bite size treats and appetizers make it easy to eat on the go while visiting with guests and enjoying the evening. For this party, I wanted the tastes of Brazil to shine. My hubby lived in Rio for two years where he served a mission and I knew he’d love these eats.
The table was loaded with sweet and savory treats including classic brigadeiros with colorful sprinkles. We also had lots of appetizers using Brazi Bites pao de queijo. These little cheesy bread bites are so delicious and versatile. I couldn’t believe how authentic they tasted. Having traveled to Rio de Janeiro myself, I can tell you that they are absolutely delicious. They are spot on in authenticity.
Even our drinks had the taste of Brazil. I bought my hubby’s favorite drink, guarana. To elevate them, I just popped a gold rock candy sucker in each and served them up in a beautiful wine glass.
My usual cookie gal was out of the country so I gave these Jenny Cookies inspired party hat cookies a shot. While they are nowhere near as amazing as her cookies, they were still fun to serve up.
For the savory Brazi Bites appetizers, I chose to feature their garlic asiago variety as a pig in a blanket using little smokies. This was a fun way to make this classic appetizer gluten-free. The zesty pepperjack were perfect for making these spicy little Italian sandwiches. I have included the recipe below but these bite size heroes were a huge hit! I love how great they look with fresh basil and tomato stuck on top as well.
We love serving the cheddar parmesan Brazi Bites with a potato and green chili dip. I felt that this was a fun way to let the bites shine in their untouched awesomeness. The 3 three cheese pizza flavor was great with a little bit of rotisserie chicken and some of our favorite ranch spread. These were easy to put together as well and made for another fun savory appetizer.
I love using Brazi Bites because they are so easy to make and go from freezer to table in 20 minutes. They are also gluten, sugar and soy free which I love. Since our theme was the clean slate New Years Eve party, it only made sense to have a beautiful slate cheeseboard. This acted as the perfect serving space for all our yummy appetizers, plus some other meats and cheeses.
I used some black and white vases to also tie in the slate color with the bright whites and blush pink. I knew I wanted this angled, sparkly tablecloth to bring the pizzaz of NYE to the party.
For other decor, we also had a fun celebrate banner, a leather white couch and pillows in coordinating colors. We kept the florals white and bright as well with small touches of gold. The serving platters and cake were bright white. We actually used Confection Deception for the cake here since I knew I mostly wanted this one for the visual appeal.
I loved seeing my little ones filling out the clean slate resolution cards. I think this and the midnight snack boxes are especially fun for any New Years Eve party. You can find them at Loraleelewis.com. And don’t forget to ring in the new year with a kiss from your sweetheart, even if it is with a baby in your arms and kids running around you.
