How to make: Holiday Cookie Box pin

Making a holiday cookie box is a great way to spread holiday cheer. Cookie boxes with all different kinds of cookies make the perfect gift for this time of year.

If you are looking for a homemade gift that is easy and tasty, you are in the right place. These Christmas cookie boxes are so fun to put together and everyone will love them.

    Holiday cookie box

The holiday season is my favorite time of year. We always make homemade cookies at my house and we love sharing them with our friends and loved ones.

So, we’ve come up with a way to share your favorite Christmas cookies. Making holiday cookie boxes are easier than you might think. I would say that sourcing the boxes was the hardest part.

After looking high and low all over the internet to find cute boxes, like I wanted all I seemed to find were custom made.

While the brown Kraft boxes are much more price efficient if delivering to a lot of people, I wanted a pretty wood box.

I decided I wanted to do something easier so that you guys could recreate it yourself. So, I went to my local Michaels store and started with this big box.

We then added in two of these little .99 cent wood holiday boxes you find in the front area of the store. You can put them in right by each other or you can turn one vertical and one horizontal like we did.

Be sure to have plenty of cookie options available when putting together these fun boxes. You can also use decorative tins if you prefer.

    Girls holding cookie boxes

I recommend a variety of shapes and sizes of cookies so that you have a fun look to your box. You can even add candy!

Different shapes like long, skinny ones, big wide and round ones as well as tiny cookies make for the best holiday cookie box.

Different colors as well with white chocolate, milk chocolate, and even some candies for that festive touch.

    Chocolate mint cookies

Cookie boxes don’t have to be limited to just cookies. Add in some chocolate-covered pretzels, white yogurt pretzels, peppermint bark, and candy canes are all great options.

You could even throw in some peppermint candies and chocolates. The point is, get creative and have fun. It is a holiday cookie box after all!

If you want to make this extra fun, invite some of your favorite friends over and have each person bring a few dozen of their favorite cookie. Set them all out on the counter and let everyone build their holiday cookie boxes from those.

    Holiday cookies and an apron

This is a GREAT way to reduce the number of cookies you yourself has to bake! It is something everyone can agree is a fun holiday tradition.

I like to have some spatulas and cute aprons for guests to enjoy as well as some savory snacks to much on as well.
