Gluten-Free Egg Rolls
Feel Good Foods is my favorite GF brand of egg rolls but you can use any type of rolls that you like. I know some people LOVE egg rolls from Trader Joes. You can also use mini egg rolls for a great appetizer but neither are gluten-free.
Pro tip: We like serving egg rolls with a side of gluten-free soy sauce and homemade sour sauce or sweet chili sauce. It’s the perfect sweet and savory combo!
Do you need to use oil?
Nope! You don’t need to add any extra oil or oil spray to these egg rolls because they already have enough fat in them. The excess fat on the outside of the egg rolls will prevent them from sticking to the air fryer basket.
Do I need to preheat the air fryer?
Nope again! The instructions in the recipe card for frozen egg rolls in air fryer are based off a non-preheated air fryer. If you’re making multiple batches, the cooking time may need to be reduced for the 2nd batch.
How long do you put frozen egg rolls in an air fryer?
For this easy recipe you’ll want to cook your egg rolls at 400 degrees f for 13 minutes or until fully cooked and crispy. Depending on what type of egg rolls you’re cooking, the time may vary by 1-3 minutes.
Tips for making them perfectly crispy
Cooking air fryer eggrolls is similar to cooking french fries. You want to make sure there is no freezer burn or excess moisture from freezing before placing in the bottom of the air fryer basket.
For perfectly crispy egg rolls, place egg rolls in a single layer of the air fryer basket and cook until golden brown.
How do you store leftover egg rolls?
Store leftover egg rolls similarly how you would store leftover spring rolls. An airtight container with a paper towel underneath your egg rolls will preserve freshness for up to 3-4 days.
