Gluten free crackers are a crispy snack that adds a satisfying crunch to your snacking world. But, some gluten free products and crackers don’t have the best texture, so I’m here to enlighten you on which gluten free crackers are the best and what to pair them with.

Going gluten-free has become more popular in the recent years which is great for those of us who live a gf lifestyle. But that also means that there’s more products to sift through on the shelves. This post will help you keep an eye out for key ingredients in picking the best gf snacks.

Whether you’re someone with celiac disease, a gluten intolerance, or just choose to live a gluten free lifestyle, finding the perfect gf cracker (and gluten free cereal too) can be a challenge.

Especially when you are serving up a delicious pineapple cheeseball, best cheeseball, beef cheeseball or mini cheeseballs.

What are gluten-free crackers made of?

Gluten free crackers are typically made from different types of wheat flour alternatives. This can be anything from nuts and seeds to potato starch.

Corn flour, almond flour, and rice flours are some of the most popular options. Flours are normally blended with one another for a delectable taste and texture.

Are gluten-free crackers healthier than normal crackers?

Because gluten-free products are made from nuts, seeds, and other whole foods, they tend to have more grams of fiber per serving than traditional types of crackers.

Some brands even have more grams of protein per serving as well. So not only are gluten free crackers delicious, they can also be more nutrient dense than a normal box of crackers.

However, it is important to note that just because something is gluten-free, does not mean it’s automatically healthier than the counterpart.

Certified gluten-free foods are great for those who follow a gf lifestyle, but like anything else, it’s important to look at the ingredients list and make your own conclusions.

    Which ritz crackers are gluten-free?

Ritz crackers are the ultimate table crackers which is why it’s a shame that all varieties of ritz crackers contain gluten. But there are a few gluten-free options with that same buttery texture.

Schar Entertainment Crackers and Schar table crackers are my go-to for a Ritz cracker substitute and they also taste great on gluten free charcuterie board.

Absolutely grain free crackers, Lance gluten free original crackers, and Blue Diamond nut thins are also great alternatives for Ritz crackers. You can even serve these crackers with peanut butter or other nut butters for a savory and filling snack.

Are Simple Mills almond flour crackers gluten-free?

Yes! Simple Mills almond crackers are one of my favorite gluten free crackers. They’re crisp, salty, flavorful, yet just plain enough to pair with almost anything.

They’re made with nuts, seeds, and other wholesome ingredients so they’re completely grain-free.

I like to serve these crackers with hummus, sour cream chip dip, or on an easy charcuterie board. My family and I love these crackers so much, we normally buy the extra large pack at Costco every time we go!

You can also learn more about the store bought gluten free pretzels and gluten free tortillas we recommend. Plus, store bought gluten free chips, gluten free cereal, gluten free candy and gluten free Halloween candy we prefer.

Can I Make My Own Gluten Free Crackers at Home?

Yes, you can make your own gluten free crackers if you choose. They’re actually pretty simple to make with household staples like gluten-free flour blend, flax seeds, chia seeds, seasoning, and a few other ingredients.

A quick google search will help you find a recipe for delicious homemade crackers.

Plus, making your own crackers ensures that you control all of the ingredients. This way, you can add anything from Himalayan salt to hemp hearts for your very best gluten-free crackers.

What gluten-free crackers go best with cheese?

Glutino table crackers are my favorite cracker when it comes to pairing with cheese.

They’re made with corn starch and the right touch of sea salt that’s the perfect match for cheddar cheese, mozzarella, brie, a best cheeseball, or on the side of a cheese board.

Even though these crackers are my favorite, you won’t be disappointed pairing  any of the above options with cheese. Mary’s gone crackers is another brand that’s versatile and pairs well with cheese.

What can I pair with gluten-free crackers?

On addition to cheese, you can pair a number of different foods with crackers. Tomatoes, hummus and olive oil, french onion dip, a butter board, jam, guacamole, salsa, or even fresh fruits will go great paired with crunchy crackers.

Have more questions and wondering about gluten free candy? Maybe you are worried gluten free soy sauce, gluten free tortillas, gluten free chips and gluten free pretzels. Or even which are the best crackers for charcuterie board. We’ve got you covered!
