What is a better way to get into the holiday spirit than with these adorable reindeer pancakes? I know that this festive breakfast will make your Christmas morning even more special.

These Rudolph pancakes are both whimsical and tasty. Kids will love how tiny and delicious they are and they are the perfect holiday breakfast. What a great way to get into the Christmas spirit!

    Reindeer Pancakes on a plate

These cute reindeer pancakes are my favorite pancake recipe. One, they are so cute and such a creative idea. And two, I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

I think these reindeer pancakes are the perfect way to celebrate the holidays. Plus, I love how the finished pancakes turn out. I think the candy eyes and nose add the perfect touches.

We’ve made lots of pancakes over the years because they are just a delicious classic. Our gluten free pancakes are so fluffy and delicious! The oat flour pancakes with buttermilk syrup we make are one of the fan favorite recipes we have ever shared.

I have even come up with chocolate and candy cane topped Christmas pancakes and festive gingerbread pancakes to get into the spirit of the season. But the mini pancake topped maple cupcakes were probably the cutest of all times.

If you love this recipe, you should check out of Flannel and Flapjacks Holiday Party! Decorating these pancakes would be so fun for a party activity served up with our Christmas charcuterie board and candy cane Christmas mocktails!

    What you need

These festive reindeer pancakes are such an easy recipe that you and your family will love to make together. It is such a fun way to spend time together this holiday season and an awesome new tradition to start.

    Gluten-Free All Purpose Flour

Finding a quality gluten-free flour can be a hard task. Luckily, we found Pamela’s Products! They are the first products we used after I was diagnosed with celiac disease and they are still some of our very favorite.

The flavor is so delicious. I have actually had people ask me what makes our pancakes so delicious when I use this Pamela’s Baking and Pancake Mix. You can make them straight out of the bag as is or you can jazz them up like we did in our reindeer pancake recipe above.

For more tips and tricks when it comes to baking with gluten-free flour, check out our Gluten-Free Flour and Starches post. With a little bit of creativity and a great gluten-free flour, you can make some really delicious treats.

    Candy

We use candy to decorate the reindeer Christmas pancakes. M&Ms and marshmallows make the perfect reindeer eyes and a red candy makes the nose red nosed reindeer.

If your kids like these pancakes, they will LOVE these Reindeer Cookies. Who doesn’t love fun Christmas cookies?

Top tip: Make our Gingerbread Martini Mocktail to serve with your pancakes for extra holiday cheer.

This gluten-free mini reindeer pancake party is both whimsical and tasty. Kids will love how tiny and tasty everything is at this holiday breakfast.

    How to make them

    • For the bacon reindeer antlers, preheat oven to 350°
    • Place pieces of bacon on a baking sheet and bake 20 minutes or until cooked through
    • For the pancake batter, combine all ingredients minus the marshmallows
    • Mix well
    • Gently stir in the marshmallows
    • Cook a large circle (6″ diameter) and two smaller circles for the nose and ears (2-3″ diameter) on medium heat
    • Assemble by placing the big pancake down first then top with one mini pancake.
    • Gently tear of two edges of the other mini pancake and place like ears on the top of the large pancake
    • Place bacon for antlers on each reindeer head
    • Stick M&M’s in marshmallows and place on the pancake for eyes
    • Stick a red candy on the mini pancake nose to complete your reindeer pancakes
    Why are my pancakes flat?

Overmixing the batter can cause flat pancakes, so make sure you are not stirring too much. It’s okay if there are small lumps. They won’t show up in the pancakes.

    Is maple syrup gluten-free?

Yup! If the syrup has been used for foods containing gluten (non-gluten free pancakes, etc), you may want to get a fresh bottle to avoid cross contamination.

    How to store leftovers?

Let the pancakes cool to room temperature, then put them in either a plastic bag or airtight container. Keep them in the fridge for up to four days!
