So whether it’s your sober curious cousin, your pregnant friend or your non-alcoholic drinking family and friends, everyone can cheers to a happy holiday season together.
What you need to make these
- Half and half: We found out that this gives that creaminess to the drink without too much as heavy cream would but thicker than milk.
- Cream soda: This acts as a sweetener but also gives some bubbles to this drink which surprisingly works.
- Simple Syrup: This liquid sweetener is perfect for this drink. It is much smoother than just adding sugar.
- Peppermint oil: They key to get your holiday quintessential flavor.
- Candy Canes: We use crushed candy canes for the rim and they make them so much more festive!

Ok let's make some drinks
Step 1: To prepare the martini glass rims, lightly coat the rim of your martini cup in simple syrup on a plate
Step 2: On another plate, place the crushed candy canes then rim the glasses by dipping the glasses that have been coated in simple syrup into the candy canes
Step 3: To make the drink, simply stir together 1 C half and half, 12 oz. cream soda, 4 tsp. simple syrup and 2-4 drops of peppermint oil in a small pitcher
Step 4: Pour mixed drink into the candy can rimmed martini glasses
This non-alcoholic prosecco drink can be added to it in place of the cream soda for a more spirited tasting drink. We have a great non-alcoholic gin and tonic that uses a fantastic botanical based spirit that would go great in this recipe.
