Thanksgiving cookies are the NEW dessert to serve! They look beautiful and taste great too. Plus, no heavy baking on your part like with traditional pies…
Get modern with these sweet treats instead of other traditional Thanksgiving desserts. While the isn’t considered one of our simple recipes, it is worth the time for your dessert spread.
Thanksgiving Cookies
These delicious cookies are just a quick phone call or email away… Shanan at Enchanted Cookie Boutique does all the baking, decorating and ships them right to your front door! Or, you can try your hand at decorating this soft cookie with crispy edges all on your own.
You can use royal icing with food coloring from the grocery store to get the perfect colors you need to make each Thanksgiving meal cookie. You can also melt white chocolate chips for the frosting. Turkey cookies can be made with these fun cookie cutters in the shape of a turkey leg, thanksgiving pies and more.
They are buttery and delicious with sugar cookie classic flavors and are much better than any store-bought cookies. Your dessert table will definitely be elevated with these on the presentation. Serve them up next to soft pumpkin cookies, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and some candy corn
This is one of my favorite thanksgiving cookie recipes because it gives you more time in the kitchen to cook some of these other easy recipes like gluten free turkey, gluten free green bean casserole with homemade fried onions, gluten free sweet potato casserole and delicious sausage and apple gluten free stuffing.
We have so many tasty sides that pair perfectly with Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, like honey baked ham. You should definitely check out the best honey baked ham sides.

Gluten-Free Sugar Cookies
I LOVE sugar cookies! In my opinion, they are one of the best desserts. They are one of the christmas cookies I always make so I figured, why not make them into easy thanksgiving cookies.
In addition to this recipe making delicious cookies, the cookie dough is also very tasty. Like our peanut butter cookie reindeers and no bake cookies, they are great for a gathering.
If you are choosing to buy them, Shanan can make these gluten-free or traditional. She is great about making sure to use only her gluten-free pans and dishes when making them GF. Her dough is absolutely fantastic!
However, if you want to give these Thanksgiving cookies a go by yourself, we have a great sugar cookie recipe you can use then just get creative with the frosting. Here are some ideas…
Thanksgiving Dinner Dessert
Every good Thanksgiving dinner has a few key dishes. Turkey is always at the top of the list so of course, we had to have some turkey leg cookies.
Gluten free mashed potatoes and gluten free gravy (get our recipe for the real deal) or butter if you prefer, are the next most popular dish in my opinion. But buttered corn is pretty important too. I personally love it with oregano, salt and pepper.
Peas and carrots almost always make a debut on the Thanksgiving table as well. Usually alongside stuffing like you see below. Pumpkin pie slices are the perfect addition to your Thanksgiving cookie platter. Each is topped with just a dollop of whipped cream.
They are just as delicious as our gluten-free pumpkin pie cream delight and are already in individual servings. Serving these are a great way to save yourself the time of slicing pie as well. Add all things pumpkin spice to your table with brown sugar frosting topped pumpkin cookies.
